Feminine Power and Women’s Rights

Feminine power is more important than ever.

Positive Energy Woman doesn’t often tread into politics. But because of the erosion, and possible overturning of women’s reproductive rights, we’re stepping in. The strength, passion, and voices of women are needed to gain more equality, maintain the freedoms we’ve achieved, and bring balance to the patriarchal energy that dominates our government (and the world).

Feminine Power starts within. Our energetic and spiritual strengths are the foundation of our own successful pursuits and they also contribute to the collective feminine force that can have a large-scale and positive influence.

In this article, you’ll find easy ways to raise your personal power, inspire your spirit, amplify your fierce voice and contribute to the continued drive for equality and balance in our world.

Sacred Sisterhood Communities

Sacred sister circles generate a vortex of powerful feminine energy that ripples out into the world. Devote your gathering to one or more of the Goddesses of protection, justice, magic and war. Set the intention to embody Her power. Invoke the Goddess with poetry, mantras, singing and dancing. Honor her qualities and find them within yourself. Be the Goddess when you go out into the world.

A few of the powerful Goddesses associated with protection, justice and magic include:

Durga, Hindu Goddess of Protection and Remover of Evil

Oshun, African Goddess of Protection, Saviour and Nurturer of Humanity

Isis, Egyptian Goddess of Magic

Inanna, Sumerian Goddess of love, sensuality and war

Athena, Greek goddess of Wisdom and Justice

Activist Energy

To protect what we have and gain even more equality, women must speak in the language that the patriarchy will hear, which includes political and social activism. Together our voice is loud and clear!  Women have been fighting for equal rights for centuries and have made progress. And can’t lose those rights now. Following are a few organizations with opportunities to learn, get involved, get loud and make a difference.

Woman’s March:  An international organization that is “committed to dismantling systems of oppression through nonviolent resistance and building inclusive structures guided by self-determination, dignity and respect.” They organize community gatherings and Woman’s Marches around the country to defend our most important issues.

Emily’s List:  “We ignite change by getting Democratic pro-choice women elected to office.” Donate money here to support the campaigns of women politicians who support the rights and evolution of women in America.

NARAL Pro-Choice America: “. . . . believes deeply in making sure anti-racism, diversity, equity and inclusion are at the heart of our work and throughout our organization. NARAL’s goal is to secure reproductive freedom for everybody.“ Consider donating and volunteering here.

Senate.gov:  To voice your opinion on any issue, contact your senator. Your opinions are collected and can influence their decisions.

Your feminine power supports your effectiveness at work, at home, and in your relationships. Now, more than ever, we need your lioness energy to evolve the planet.
